| Oh, my grandma's hair salon is a hoot. really.
So I'm sitting there engrossed in a trashy magazine on a chair in the little waiting room, and this lady comes up to me goes "hey I see you got some entertainment there? But you should REALLY read these ones!" and she plops some old Modern women magazine on TOP of what I was reading. (imagine this in her southern accent): "Isn't Grace Kelly such a beauty? She's so classy. You gotta read about her! And look at those styles she wore! And OMG! look at this cute victoria secret magazine! I just Loooove these pajamas-my daughter thinks they're the cutest thing! so here they are darlin'-you dont' have to read them, but just thought you'd like them-ok ttyls!"
And I'm staring at her like a deer in the headlights. Like I look like I want to be bothered? I'm fine with my magazine with the "100 sexiest men" on it!

thats right, I said the Y word. I know it makes me cringe too. but I like making others cringe as well.
So does anyone know how to use Indesign? I really want to get into that program. I recently bought Photoshop.
I LOVE it. Its frickin awesome. I can take out all the acne on my face in pictures. Pretty sweet, huh? If there is someone I hate in the photo, DELETE. I just clone the background of the picture to delete their presence in the photo.
I am so nice, aren't I?

Hey, does anyone else listen to the Rhymefest Album? ITS FRICKIN AWESOME. I am starting to get into rap a lot more these days. Listen to the song, FEVER. It has this hot woman singing in a latin voice. I love it. I think of Grace when I hear it. So you better listen to it, girl. and all the rest of you.

| - You're My Home Have you ever read the tiffany's blue catalog ? Its a little blue book, which looks like the cover of their tiny little turquoise boxes that every girl dreams of. Anyway, we got a free one.
Each page was pretty typical. Had an enlarged version of a necklace, a braclet or a ring on each page and then the name of it. However, if you look on the bottom left of the page, you see a paragraph in small,fine print. You think, oh they are just describing what the jewels are, etc.
Oh but that is not true. They want to tell you where they got the jewels. I swear this is what one of them said:
"Our gemologists went all the way to Korea to a family who is the last in their generation to be jewelers, and then went to the amazon and fought aligators and cut down rainforests to bring YOU, this exquisite diamond at the low low price of 19 billion dollars."
I swear it saids that. I will bring you the catalog as proof.
As if their jewels aren't amazing enough, they want to TELL YOU how hard it was to get this amazing diamond or emerald. They probably went to the emerald castle in fucking Wizard of Oz for their emeralds or something. they want you to think they go great lengths to bring you these amazing necklaces or braclets or whatever. When in reality, they are probably made in a factory.
wow, how special. because they fought the aligators, I will want their sapphire necklace even more. wtf!
I think they should make an SNL skit out of it personally.

on another note, I am coming home in three weeks! I am SO EXCITED to come home to California, but having mixed feelings about going to Denver. There is too much drama right now and its break! great. I will be kicking some asses if it doesn't stop.
And my roommate in Italy who is never there is a bitch and I hate her. wow I am such a girl. anyway, If she could just go away and never come back that would be great.
of course there is no anger in this direction :) I am a goddamn happy camper. | | |
